Surprised again

Yesterday, I decided that since it was payday, I would practice abundance
and go to Chick-Fil-A for dinner.  I have not been their in many months, so this was completely out of my routine. But as I sat there enjoying a peach milkshake; my head buried in a book; and obviously completely oblivious to everything going on around me... I felt a tap on my shoulder and before I could even get myself back to reality, I was enveloped (iPad and all) in a great hug and a kiss planted affectionately on my cheek.

I didn't even see who my happy assailant was until they released me.  Then I found out it was a friend that I truly had been missing. This is also a friend that I thought was mad at me.  The friend was gone as quickly as they showed up. There was hardly time for a hello since he was only there to order his own dinner and leave again. However, he did not leave without another hug and quick peck on the cheek.

My heart smiled for the rest of the day.  I like these kinds of hit and runs!!
